Epic in Every Way

2013 French Open Champion
Serena Williams

It was incredible to see how she made a clay court look like hard court or grass. I had to remind myself a few times that she was playing on clay!

What I find equally impressive to how she masters the court is how she masters life. I love the authentic depth and breadth of her beauty which she demonstrates by vivaciously cultivating her mind and spirit by learning languages (French & Italian) and expressing herself through painting among so many other things.

Thank you Serena for sharing your amazing beauty with the world!

Putting My Goldencents on Kevin

a kk

From one fellow Black equestrienne to another… You go Kevin! I am so happy you made it off of the couch and onto a Kentucky Derby and, hopefully, Triple Crown contender. Come to think of it…maybe that’s where I went wrong. While you were riding the couch, I was on all fours pretending to be Man O’ War running the race! 🙂

Wishing you well and many abundant blessings on your dream journey!

The Coming Out of Jason Collins: Major Sport’s 1st Openly Gay Athlete

Once again, I am so proud to be an alumni of this great institution which has intensively recruited and nurtured so many beautifully unique and strong beings. Thank you Stanford for recognizing and cultivating freedom of thought in theory and practice. Thank you Jason for sharing yourself with us.
