Vermont Approves Single-Payer Health Care: “Everybody in, Nobody Out”

I am looking forward to watching Vermont take the lead on universal health care in this nation. I, like so many others, have long advocated that we have to take for-profit incentives out of health care in order to achieve a single-payer system. We have to make a conscious choice to de-privatize the industry in order to make health care a basic human right and, thus, a high-quality and effective public good.
